Tina Corcoran started as a Massage Therapist 28 years ago from then on she has continued to study and has qualifications in Reflexology, Sports Therapy, Advanced Sports Massage, Fitness Instruction, First Aid Teacher, Personal Training, Pilates and Dry Needling. She has studied Orthopaedic Massage with James Waslaski, MET and Manipulations with John Gibbons and most recently studied Manipulative Therapy with Cameron Reid.
She runs a successful clinic and has had many different athletes come to her over the years such as Niall Bruton, Peter Matthews, Noel Cullen, Catherina McKiernan, Patrice Dockery, Cormac Finnerty, and many more top Irish Athletes as well as club athletes. She has worked closely with the Paralympic Team and was the Sports Massage Therapist for the European Disability Games. She has a keen interest in working with athletes and members of the public with problems such as Frozen Shoulder, Plantar Fasciitis, back, shoulder, knee, foot, and neck pain and general Sports Injuries.
Tina with her husband David has been running her own Sports Massage School since 2002. It is now a registered FAS course with registered FAS tutors. Tina has also worked for the VEC and DIT and has run workshops for private clubs.
Tina is the NSRT’s course coordinator and is in charge of writing, designing and scheduling the Sports & Remedial Massage Therapy Course and also the workshops such as Dry Needling, Manipulative Therapy and Kinesiology Taping, she is also the senior tutor with NSRT.
