Pat played Gaelic Football for many years in Kerry, Waterford and Dublin.
Injuries to himself & his fellow players first sparked an interest in Massage Therapy
Pat trained as a massage therapist in 1999. He was massage therapist to the Na Fianna club team in Dublin that reached the All Ireland Club Final that year. Pat joined the NSRT team when it was set up in 2002 and has been lecturing with the college in Dublin & Mayo since.
He has qualifications in Anatomy + Physiology, Health Science, First Aid, Taping & Strapping, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, certificate in Education and Teaching & Diploma in Sports Injuries as well as a background of Orthopaedic Nursing.
He describes massage as very rewarding as he can see the positive changes it can make to peoples lives. He runs a successful clinic in Limerick with clients from various backgrounds.
